Second Post
I'm not sure whether or not Gordan Korman ever played high school football or not, but in reality no dedicated starting varsity football player would ever miss a game to help a grown man he only knew for a few months. Especially since the game was so important to the team, if it were me I wouldn't have missed it if the moon was about to crash into the Earth. So Charlies few moments of happiness at the hall of fame ceremony shouldn't have been Marcus' priority.

Yes Marcus should not have skipped the game. But if he missed the ceremony, he would have no proof that Charlie was not normal and would take the blame to the athorities.
