First

When starting the book, we find out that our main character Marcus is trying out for the David Nathan Aldrich Raiders and makes the team, but is hated by most of the team especially Troy. Later on, Marcus finds out that Troy's dad is Charlie, a retired NFL linebacker. When Marcus found out that Charlie was Troy's dad, their relationship worsens, but the team slowly starts to like him more. The beginning of the book was okay because it had some interesting events.
