The second that I saw that there was a sports book available for our summer reading assignment, I jumped on that opportunity. Right off the bat Gordan Korman made this book interesting and what made it even better was that it was about a teenage boy who is in high school which makes it very easy for myself and my peers to relate to. In this case Marcus is the main character who is trying to gain a starting spot on his school's football team as a quarterback however there is a huge obstacle in the way of him achieving that, the previous starter, Troy. I am really hoping that this book is not like the other sports books I've read before where the main character ALWAYS wins. Maybe this read will incorporate some twists as the plot develops.

I agree with Armand because it is very easy to relate to Marcus and the problems he is facing. Every year there are numbers of student athletes, boys and girls, who work hard in order to get a starting position on their high school teams. I like that at the end of the book Marcus gets a starting position as a quarterback, all his hard work paid off.
