Second Post
During the novel I didn't understand why Marcus just went along with Charlie sugaring the hardware store and didn't try to stop him and tell him that what he was doing was wrong. Partially because of this Marcus becomes a delinquent when really he should not have. Marcus was always a good kid in his old town so it didn't make sense for him to be doing something like that.
