First Post

In the beginning of the book, we find out that Marcus is trying out for the Aldrich Raiders. Marcus makes the team but is hated by the team especially Troy. Marcus finds out that Troy's father is Charlie who is a retired NFL linebacker and has Alzheimer's. Troy is in the park when a stranger walks up to him. Charlie walked up to Marcus who is the new kid in town and wants to be the starting quarterback. It is interesting how Troy's father would help out Marcus.
