Kyle L Final Blog

The ending of Pop was very exciting but sad. It was exciting because of all the changes instoryline  like Troy quitting football and Alyssa and Troy getting back together . when Charlie died it was devastating to both Popovich family and to Marcus . For the Popovich family they lost a father and husband and to Marcus he lost a friend. I liked the way Gordan Korman created all the conflicts between Marcus , Troy and Troys sister. The conflicts consisted of Football ,  whats best for Charlie and Alyssa. The only thing I didnt like was that he killed charlie and how marcus  could even be able to take Charlie to EBU and not get caught or even transport him there since hes a teenager.

  1. I agree with you 100%. I really like how Gordan Korman made it so that there was always an interesting conflict and it kept the reader entertained and always on the edge of the seat. I also liked how he was able to incorporate all of the characters so that they played a specific role in the plot development. I personally didn't enjoy the part where Charlie died but I was pleased to see that this did not end like every other novel where the main character gets everything he wants and everything ends perfectly.

  2. I agree with Kyle about the ending. I too thought it was both exciting and sad. However, I feel that the author did a good job of making the ending different than most books like this. I also agree with Armand. I thought Gordon Korman did a good job of laying out the book and keeping the reader guessing.
