First Post
In the beginning of Pop by Gordon Korman, the lead character, Marcus, is moved to a new town, and has to deal with all the challenges that come with being the "new kid". The most crucial for him, is being welcomed into the football team which isn't the easiest task considering he is trying to start over the star quarterback, who had a perfect season the previous year. This was an interesting start to a book and, it leaves the reader curious to how it will develop into a full story.

I agree that it was an interesting way to start the book. I think that it did develop eventually into a full story and a very interesting story of how he made the team and also in all of Marcus' other events in this book.
